This ESPN game table is clearly one of the best multi-game tables on the market, for a number of reasons. It features four games in one table and a unique swivel design that allows you to seamlessly go from one game to the next. The large, full-sized table design makes it perfect for older children, teens, and adults. Additionally, the game variety and included accessories can provide endless hours of entertainment for the whole family, for a price that’s reasonable.
This top of the line multi-game table by ESPN is loaded with all of the bells and whistles adults and kids could want. The versatile swivel design will allow you to switch out the playing surface from hockey to basketball, to billiards and table tennis. This full-sized table can take up a lot of space in the home, especially considering you need to add an extra two to three feet of space on each side when the table is in table tennis or billiards mode. Combined with the fact that it weighs one hundred and forty-two pounds, this isn’t exactly the most portable table on the market.
So, if you don’t have the space to handle a table of this size you may be better off looking for a mini multi-game table. Additionally, the table does not come with leg levelers, which would allow you to lower the table for younger players. With this in mind, this table is a better fit for adults, teens, and older children. But if you’ve always dreamed about owning your own pool table, or a full-sized game table that’s loaded with options, then give this best-selling model a closer look.
Overview and Features
This large table offers the type of arcade gameplay experience that most buyers are looking for. If you have the space to accommodate a table of this size, then you have no reason to go to the arcade or pool hall to play your favorite table-based games ever again.
Dimensions
As you can see, this is the largest table that I’ve reviewed and it’s larger design makes it a better option for adults compared to some compact game tables on the market. However, not every home will be able to accommodate a table of this size. The table weighs one hundred and forty-two pounds, so it’s definitely not portable. In terms of dimensions it measures in at seventy-two inches long, thirty-one inches wide, and thirty-two inches tall.
Design
This model features a swivel design and comes loaded with finger shoot basketball, table tennis, billiards, and hover hockey. It also comes with all of the accessories for each game. The table’s swivel design allows you to quickly change each game, using the built-in four locking points for added safety. The locks will keep each attachment and surface space securely in place, so a surface will not move or slide during game play.
Materials
The table is made out of PVC, metal, and MDF plastic, so you know it’s designed to last.
Billiards
Unlike most multi-game tables, the base of this table is not the pool table. Instead, the pool table playing surface will fit neatly over the table’s base, which is the hover hockey game. This package includes two pool sticks, one billiard ball set, two pieces of chalk, and one brush to keep the green felt clean and free of debris. Unlike the pool cues that come in competing packages, these are full-sized. This means you can also use your own favorite pool cue to shoot on this table.
Hover Hockey
The base of this table is the hover hockey game. So, what is hover hockey exactly? The table comes with a special air hockey surface that’s incredibly slick. The best air hockey tables have a perforated surface. Air is pushed through the hole’s in the table’s surface to allow the puck to almost float across the surface. But these tables also come with a large blower system, which you won’t find on a multi-game table. Because of this, most tables offer slide hockey, which basically involves just sliding the puck across the smooth surface of the table.
This manufacturer has gone above and beyond by using a battery-powered puck that’s designed to hover, so you can shoot it across the table as it floats into your opponent’s goal. The puck is rechargeable via a USB cable. This is an innovative way to play hockey.
While the puck still may not achieve the type of fast playing action that you would enjoy with a traditional table, it’s definitely a big step up from slide hockey. Aside from the rechargeable hovering hockey puck, you’ll also get a couple of large strikers, which feature a nice textured grip that makes it easy for adults to hang onto. In terms of the playing surface, it’s about equal to traditional air hockey table dimensions.
Table Tennis
Quickly swap out the playing surface to play a challenging round of table tennis. This set comes with a couple of large paddles, two posts, a couple of balls, and one net. For this game, you’ll want to ensure you have the table pulled away from any walls. Most players will need two to three feet of space on each side of the table, in order to move around freely and return tricky shots.
Finger Shoot Basketball
The last playing surface is the finger shoot basketball insert. This consists of a mini basketball court, a tiny basketball hoop, which should be placed in the middle of the court, and one mini basketball. This is a fun game you can play with your friends, although it’s not quite as exciting as the other included game options.
Storage
The table is equipped with built-in storage space, which you can use to keep all of the table’s pieces and accessories together and well-organized.
Assembly
This table requires a lengthy assembly process and at least two people. The included instructions are easy to follow and well-written. You can follow the step by step guide, complete with images, for each phase of the process. With two people, you can expect to spend two to three hours putting this table together.

ESPN Multi-Game Table Versus Giantex Multi Game Table
When it comes to comparing these two tables, they couldn’t be more different. The competing model by Giantex consists of a compact multi-game table that’s designed with kids in mind. The lower height of the table makes it almost impossible for adult use. It comes with foosball, table tennis, hockey, and billiards. All of the accessories are included. However, the accessories are also designed for child use, which means the pool cues are much shorter and the strikers are too small for adults to grip comfortably.
The ESPN table is designed for older children, with a height that makes it difficult for smaller children to use. As you know by now, this table comes with finger shoot basketball, billiards, hover hockey, and table tennis. But unlike the competing model, this table is very large and not portable, which means it won’t be a great choice for apartment dwellers and smaller homes.
The competing table can easily be picked up and stored away when not in use, so it doesn’t require a dedicated space.
Additionally, the Giantex table also comes with a much lower price tag, but considering the smaller size and the fact that it’s designed for children, it doesn’t come as a surprise. When choosing between the two, make sure the competing model isn’t a table your kids will quickly outgrow, and take careful measurements to ensure that each of these models will fit in your home.
Conclusion and Rating
Our Rating:
The ESPN multi-game table comes with four games, complete with a full-table design, which makes the table perfect for older children, teens, and adults. This versatile table comes with table tennis, finger shoot basketball, hover hockey, and billiards. Unlike most multi-game tables, this model uses the hockey game as the base of the table instead of billiards.
The table comes with three game playing surface inserts and all of the accessories you’ll need to play each of these competitive table-based games. Considering its size and weight, this table isn’t exactly portable, so you’ll want to make sure you have enough space in the home to work with before you hit that buy now button. I gave this table a rating of four and a half stars out of five.
